What is GST?

Goods and Services Tax or simply GST is an Indirect tax applicable throughout India which replaced multiple taxes levied by the Central and State governments.

GST has now replaced the VAT/CST which was being charged to your buyers earlier.

How GST can Impact Campaigners on My Dream Store?

Previously VAT/CST of 5% was levied on all our products like Unisex Tees, Unisex Hoodies, Full Sleeve, Polos, Mobile Cases, Tank Tops, Tote Bags, Posters, Coffee Mugs etc.

Now under the GST, Each product categories will attract different tax rates unlike the flat tax system of VAT/CST. Below is the list of revised tax rates applicable as per GST.

When will the New Taxation Changes be applicable in My Dream Store?
From 27th July, 2017, All your New and Relaunched Campaigns will follow new tax rates as per the GST regime.

What will happen to my Old Campaigns?
Don’t worry! During Relaunch of your Old Campaigns, Selling Price will be automatically adjusted by the system as per the new taxation rates.

What will happen to New Campaigns?
For New Campaigns, While entering Markup price on Design Studio, System will automatically calculate its Selling Price based on GST rates.

How an International Campaigner can receive Payouts via My Dream Store?

This Snippet will guide you on our New International Payments system. Please kindly follow the procedures mentioned below to obtain Payments via Dollars (USD) in Paypal or Payoneer.

1) Log in to your My Dream Store account.

2) Click on ‘My Account’ –> ‘Profile Settings’.


3) You are in ‘Profile Settings’ page now. Click on ‘Payout Settings tab’ and Select ‘International Sellers’ tab.


4) Under ‘International Sellers’ tab, Select the required ‘Mode of Payment’ from the list of available options such as Paypal or Payoneer.

5) On Clicking Paypal/Payoneer, Enter your Paypal/Payoneer account E-mail id. From the list of available countries, Select your required Country and enter your Mobile Number.


6) To verify your Identity, An OTP will be sent to your Mobile Number. If you haven’t received your OTP, Click on ‘Resend OTP’ to receive OTP again. Once the 4-digit OTP is entered, Click on ‘Save’ button to save the details.

7) Now your details are saved as shown below.
Note – Once the details are saved, It is not possible to edit the details again.

8) You can get all your Payouts Reports from ‘Payment Challan’ section.

This can be accessed here – http://www.mydreamstore.in/user/account/payouts_data or you can toggle to Campaigner Dashboard and access it as well.

Note :
1) Once the Products are delivered to your customers, International Payments will be transferred in 5-7 working days.

2) Indian Sellers cannot receive Payouts via International Payments System.

FAQ’s on International System:

1) PayPal isn’t accepted in my country is there any other way in which I can receive my payout?

Ans – You can receive payouts via Payoneer as well.

2) What will be the transaction fees for each payout that I receive through PayPal?

3) How do I create a PayPal account?

4) What all do I need to create a PayPal account?

Ans – To open a Personal account, you just need to provide your first and last name, address, phone number, and email address.

  • For your protection, you’ll create a password for your new account and select 2 security questions.
  • After you sign up for an account, you can start receiving money right away.

5) Within how many days can I receive a payment via PayPal/Payoneer after My Dream Store processes it?

Ans – Once we process the Payments, You will be receiving Payments in 3-5 Days.

6) What is the frequency at which the payouts will be done by My Dream Store via PayPal/Payoneer?

Ans – We will be transferring payouts once in a week.

7) Apart from PayPal and Payoneer, Can I use any other payment gateway for receiving a payout?

Ans – As of now, only these options are available. We shall integrate more options in future.

8) I have more queries. Whom should I approach?

We all know that India is COD predominant market and COD orders have higher chances of returns. The main reasons being buyer refusing the package, incomplete addresses. Non-availability of buyer at the time of delivery etc. for the order returns.

This incurs loss to both Mydreamstore and the campaigner as Mydreamstore has to bear the returns logistics costs and campaigners getting poor ROI on their campaigns.

To minimise the return risk and improve the overall profit, Mydreamstore is providing ‘Returns Reuse’ facility for the campaigners.

What is Returns Reuse?

It’s a process in which the returned products are stored at mydreamstore warehouse and are reused, shipped to a new buyer whenever a matching order (product type, size, colour) is placed.

Please consider the below example,

Say you have launched a Campaign A and in the first run, a product of Unisex T-Shirt of Size M and Colour Black has been returned.

Now you have relaunched the Campaign A and in its second run, if a buyer orders
Unisex T-Shirt of Size M and Colour Black the item returned from the previous run is re-used and shipped to the new buyer.

Campaigners can see all the data pertaining to the return items in the Returns Management Dashboard. This dashboard helps you understand the following things

  • How many orders are returned?
  • What’s the stock count of the returned items?
  • What is the adjustment amount for these returned items?
  • Which products from my returns are being reused/reshipped?
  • What is your net payout amount after the adjustments?

To access the Returns Management Dashboard.

1) Log in to My Dream Store account and switch to Campaigner Dashboard

2) Click on ‘Returns’ button on the left menu bar as shown below.


3) You are now at the Returns Dashboard screen. When you click on the Campaign Card, you can see the campaign wise returned items with product type, colour, and size.

You have an option of ‘1-Click Relaunch’ to relaunch the Campaigns.



4) Towards your Left, You can find Options such as Returns In-stock, Returns Dispatched, Returns Adjustments, Returns Invoice Settlements. Let us explore each of them in a detailed manner.


5) On Clicking, Returns In-stock, It will display the list of all returned products. You also have an Option to Download the list of Returns.


6) Clicking ‘Returns Dispatched’ will show you the list of Returns that have been Dispatched from our end.


7) Clicking
‘Returns Adjustments’ will show you the Amount that will be adjusted from your Payment Challan as a deduction for Returns.

8) On clicking any of the ‘Invoice ID’, You will be taken to ‘Invoice Adjustments’ Panel. 

This Panel will show the list of Returned Products for which the amount will be adjusted.
You also have an option to download the list as well.


9) Clicking
‘Invoice Settlements’ tab will show you the details like – Invoice Amount, Returns Adjustments Amount and Total Payable Amount. 

You also have an Option to Download the data as well.

Return Reuse Charges:

The products fulfilled from Return Inventory will be charged handling fees of Rs.100 + shipping cost of Rs. 60 for products weighing less than 500 grams and Rs. 75 for products weighing more than 500 grams (Hoodies and other products as per the applicable weight)

What is it actually ? 

No shave November is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as depression in men, prostate cancer and other male cancers.

The idea originated as Movember in a small pub at Adelaide, South Australia where a small group of people decided to grow moustaches for charity throughout the month of November.In the USA, a non profit ‘No Shave November’ was founded in November 2009 with a similar objective. With the advent of social media, it soon spread like a wildfire and now stands as an international phenomenon.

Today around 21 countries participate in this event post which the money saved by avoiding shaving and grooming is donated towards causes like cancer prevention, saving lives of cancer stricken and aiding those fighting the battle.

The much awaited ‘’Returns Dashboard’’ is now LIVE! You will find the option to access it in your ‘’Campaign Dashboard’’ as shown below.

Inside your ‘’Returns Dashboard’’ the first view will show you the count of total number of returned products from each campaign. On clicking on each campaign block you will be able to see the product wise split up of returns from that particular campaign.

 

Furthermore, inside the ‘’Returns Dashboard’’ there are 4 tabs along the left margin which are as follows:

  1. Returns in Stock
  2. Returns Dispatched
  3. Returns Adjustments
  4. Returns Invoice Settlements

  1. Returns in Stock – This option gives you details about your return products pertaining to each of your campaign ID. This view is supported with a ‘’Search’’ option which will help you search and filter your return products as per your requirement. This view also contains a ‘’Download’’ option for your convenience.

     2)  Returns Dispatched – This option will contain information regarding the returns that will be reused by My Dream Store. Since we haven’t yet started reusing the returns, this option currently has no data (More updates on this soon).

   3)  Returns Adjustments – Under this option, in the top left corner, you see the total amount that you should be paying to My Dream Store as return adjustment . This is referred to as ‘’Total Payable Amount’This total amount is the sum of amounts generated through each invoice as shown in the table below. On clicking on each invoice ID, you are directed to ‘’Invoice adjustments’’ this contains an exhaustive list of the products that comprise that invoice and the amount per product that you are paying to My Dream Store. You have a ‘’Download’’ option here as well for your convenience.

4)  Return Invoice Settlements – This option shows you the settled amount and the pending amount, yet to be settled out of the ‘’Total Payable Amount’’.

  • ‘’Total settled amount’’ (Top right corner) – This is the amount that is already settled .
  • ‘’Remaining payable amount’’ (Top left corner) – This is the amount that is yet to be settled.

Finally the ‘’Net Amount’’ which is equal to  Invoice Amount -(minus)  Return Adjustments is paid to you as your payout.

Also, Total Settled Amount + Remaining Payable Amount = Total Payable Amount

 

The adjusted amount is settled against each invoice clearly shown in the the table. You have a ‘’Download’’ option here as well for your convenience.

‘’I began introspecting what was going wrong. I realised I was hurrying with launching campaigns rather than concentrating on learning the art of Advertising. I gave up campaigning for a while and spent days learning it. When I got back to campaigning with the required knowledge, Bang on! I had my first success! I could see my baby steps towards my dreams showing results. This was my first income, I was elated. It strengthened my enthusiasm. Sleep and hunger were just two words that rang no bell in my ears for a while. All I was concerned was about new niches and new designs. I remember watching You Tube tutorials even in my dreams ’’ happily chuckled Arjun.

‘’Spending on advertising campaigns was bit of an issue for me initially. But my brother and sister donated their pocket money and helped me in every small way they could. Thats where I gathered my initial investment from. Once I started getting payouts I began investing that amount on advertising.Now I am finally in a position to say that I am earning well enough and all my hard work has paid off’’ proudly states Arjun.

Recently, Campaigners have been approaching our internal team to sign new COD Service Level agreements in order to convert their accounts from Prepaid –> Prepaid + COD.

At My Dream Store, we always try to identify any problem and automate the manual process by using Technology. As a Part of it, we have identified the problem and developed Service Level Agreement (SLA) Feature which solves end users pain point.

By using this feature, User can convert their accounts from Prepaid –> Prepaid + COD instantly.

This article will explain you about the Procedural flow of SLA Feature.

How to Convert my account from Prepaid –> Prepaid + COD ?

Step 1 – Login to My Dream Store.

Step 2 – Click on ‘My Account’ –> ‘Profile Settings’ (Please refer the image below)


Step 3 – Click on ‘Campaign Settings’ panel and ‘Enable Prepaid and COD for all Campaigns’ check-box. (Please refer the image below)


Step 4 – A Service Level Agreement (SLA) will appear in the inline Pop up. Please go through the Service Level Agreement completely.

Once you are comfortable with Terms & Conditions of the agreement, Please click on ‘I agree to all Terms & Conditions’ check box and click on ‘Agree’ button. (Please refer the image below)

Step 5 – Now, Our System will analyse your Previous returns percentage for all your campaigns.

If the Returns percentage is less than or equal to 30, The System will automatically enable Prepaid + COD for all your Campaigns. (Please refer the image below)


Step 6 – In case, If your Returns percentage is greater than 30, The System will not allow your Campaigns to toggle into Prepaid + COD mode. In this case, You can reach – swati@mydreamstore.in for further Steps.
