Create your first Facebook ad & Promote your T-shirt Campaign

Hello Campaigners. You have a campaign going on and you have used our promotions guidelines and have got good results. However, chances are that you might notice a dip in sales after a point of time as things start to get slightly stagnant.

To shake things up, start promoting your campaign through Facebook ads. It has been clearly proven through several successful campaigner testimonials, where our star campaigners say that promoting their campaign through Facebook ads really gave them that extra push and an edge over other campaigns.

Through Facebook ads, you will get the traction you have no chance of getting organically. You can reach out to a larger audience who will be exactly interested in the t-shirts you are offering – you can select based on their interests and other sub-categories.

First things first, create a Facebook Ad. To do so, follow the steps below.

To create a Facebook ad:

1. Go to ad creation page here https://www.facebook.com/ads/create# and then choose an advertising objective.

2.  Type in or select from the dropdown what you want to advertise. For example, if you chose the ‘Send people to your website’, you’ll type in the URL of the page that is selling your t-shirt on the My Dream Store website.

3. Click Continue and then in the next page choose the audience, budget, images and text for your ad before placing your order.

Facebook offers a range of audience targeting options. You can choose from one or a combination of these options to suit your business’s needs:

  • Location
  • Demographic
  • Interest
  • Behaviour
  • Connection

Ad Set Audiences

When advertising on Facebook, you define an audience that’ll be eligible to see your ad. You choose this audience at the ad set level. Choosing a relevant audience to sell your t-shirt to is important because your ad will be shown to people who match the criteria (ex: location, gender, demographics) you select.

Setting Your Ad Set Budget

Before setting your budget, you’ll decide if you want your ad set to run continuously or if you want to have your ad set run for a specific length of time.

  1. If you want to run your ad set continuously, choose a daily budget. Facebook will pace your spending per day.
  2. If you want to run your ad set for a specific length of time, choose a lifetime budget. Facebook will pace your spending over the lifetime of the ad set.

Once your first Facebook ad is set up, tweak it and do A/B testing to receive the best results for your ad. Play around with Facebook ads till you get more comfortable with it.
