Meet Rajendra Singh Rathore, our Campaigner of the Week!

Meet Rajendra Singh Rathore, our ‘Campaigner of the Week;’ Rajendra, an engineering student from NIT Trichy, is the brain behind the popular Facebook page The Frustrated Engineer.  He is passionate about his Facebook page and with the help of his Facebook page, he has started designing and selling his T-Shirts. This was his first campaign and we wish him all the best for his future campaigns.

Recently, we spoke to him about his experience with us. Below, we have transcribed the conversation we had with him.

Tell us a little bit more about you!

My name is Rajendra Singh Rathore and I am a B.Tech 3rd year student from NIT TRICHY. My Home Town is in Rajasthan. I love Surfing the internet and I am always active on social network. Besides being a Student, I am currently also the admin of a Facebook Page, ‘The Frustrated Engineer’. I am very passionate about my page and I always believe in the work I do. I am always looking for new ideas for my Facebook page. I also design T-Shirts in my free time.

Why did you decide to design a t-shirt?

I wanted to monetize my Facebook page and I think I have good designs and also a network of potential buyers through my Facebook page. I rightly thought that I can earn well by promoting it on my page.

What is your t-shirt about?

My campaign was about my FB page; it was about Life of Engineers during and after the college.

How did you first hear about us?

I heard about My Dream Store from my college friends.

What was launching your first campaign like?

The buyer’s response was ok and now I am concentrating on even better designs so as to be able to get an even wider audience to appreciate and then buy my T-Shirt.

Was the My Dream Store experience any different from any earlier e-commerce experience?

This was my first exposure to this kind of platform. My experience with My Dream Store was good. All facilities provided by the My Dream Store team were very good. Moreover, they motivated me a lot to do better in my next campaign.

What is the #1 thing that you wished My Dream Store would offer but it doesn’t.

I wish that the transaction process could be faster.

What’s been the hardest part about selling with My Dream Store? What could we do to make your life easier?

The order delivery processing is slightly slow. I hope that it’s a matter of time before My Dream Store Delivery Processing will be easier and fast.

 How did you promote your t-shirt?

I promoted it through my Facebook Page and also through my friend’s page.

Did you communicate with our customer support team in the process? How was the experience?

Yes I have communicated with your customer support team and they were available all the time for my queries. They told me about the procedure of starting as a T-Shirt Designer on My Dream Store.

What’s the best piece of advice you could give someone just starting out?

If you have a good design and demand and want to do hard work then My Dream Store is best for you and you can earn a lot through My Dream Store.

What’s been the best part of your success on My Dream Store?

My performance of my first campaign was average but with my new designs I am hoping for a good response from my buyers.

Will you do this again?

I will definitely be launching campaigns at regular intervals.

What will your next design be about?

My Design will involve ‘The Frustrated Engineers’ page in a way and will revolve around the life of Engineers and the small but important things they face during their college days.
