For Monish, it all started in 2013 — the longing idea to build something, the thirst to do more and the urge to make it big. After completing his graduation, Monish joined as a Customer Service representative in a reputed Contact Services firm. He later went on to do MBA from Liverpool John Moores University following which he joined the Business Development team of a startup based in Hyderabad. As the days passed he felt monotony in working and called it a day to start something of his own — FrenchBob an online gifting platform was born!

The initial days were extremely challenging as the market was not ready for their idea. Things became shaky; days were getting worse, running the company was getting difficult as the funds started drying up.

And it was during these tough times, he met Karthik, CEO of MyDreamStore in one of the startup events. He elaborated the entire situation for which Karthik responded “Monish you can start selling today itself, you make money without any costs and keep your startup dreams alive with those funds”. Impressed by the idea of selling t-shirts online without any inventory or costs Monish kick-started his journey on My Dream Store!

No Looking Back Thereafter

“Like people rightly say, ‘there will be a turning point in everyone’s life’ probably taking the decision to start selling on MDS at the right time was a turning point in my life too. I still remember my first campaign, 16–18 hrs of intensive research every day, trying to find the target audience, the right niche, experimenting with face book ads, learning something new every single day was a whole new experience in itself. And here I am now, earning a handsome amount through selling online on MyDreamStore”, recollects Monish beaming with pride.

Although it was tough in the beginning, all the hard work started paying off. With each passing day I was enjoying the journey more than struggling for success. With things starting to fall in place, it paved way to the other best times of my life.

Monish is happily married, an ardent Liverpool Fan and a travel bug. “I was also able to unleash my inner self, bring out my wanderlust with the money that I’m earning here at My Dream Store” says Monish brimming with Joy.

We’ve all been there! The late-night chit chats with friends exchanging ideas, lamenting about the heavily-burden work life, wanting to build something, make a difference. Well, it was the same for Monish as well, but what made him standout is his self-belief, hard work and the determination to put ideas into execution.
